About Thrust Flight
Thrust Flight is the nation’s premier airline-style flight academy. We use a total immersion training model to take students from zero experience to professional pilot with our Zero Time to Airline® program in under 15 months.
If you’re serious about becoming an airline pilot fast, you need a school built for that exact goal. At Thrust, we combine the best training structure with the best equipment and the clearest path to your first airline job.
What We Do
Thrust Flight trains airline-track pilots through the Zero Time to Airline (ZTA) program. Students come in with no flight experience and leave with every certificate and rating required to fly for a regional airline. The program runs full time and takes most students roughly fifteen months to complete.
ZTA is the only program we sell. We don’t operate a rental fleet, we don’t focus on hobbyist training, and we don’t run discovery flights as a business line. The school exists to move career-track students through training and into airline flight deck. That focus shapes how the school is organized, how aircraft are maintained, and how instructors are trained.
School History
Founded in 2006, the organization was originally focused on importing and distributing one of the leading light sport aircraft models. Flight training services were quickly added to support purchasers of those aircraft.
In 2017, aircraft sales operations were discontinued so the company could focus entirely on pilot training. The name changed to Thrust Flight in 2018 to reflect that shift.
In 2025, the name was shortened to Thrust to reflect a broader expansion into aviation career training. Alongside the flight school, Thrust now operates a Part 147 Aviation Maintenance Technician school and a Part 65 Aircraft Dispatcher program.
Accreditation and Credentials
Thrust is accredited, authorized, and licensed by the following:
- Federal Aviation Administration: Part 141
- Department of Veterans Affairs: approved for the training of veterans and other eligible personnel.
- International Aerospace Accrediting Commission (IAAC). This includes the Thrust Flight main campus in Addison, TX as well as all satellite campuses.
