Chief Instructor


Thrust Flight is looking for a Chief Instructor to join our team of experienced aviation professionals in one of the fastest growing flight schools in the SW Region.  We view the Chief Instructor as a critical member of our team. 

The Chief Instructor is responsible for the management of the flight operations of the FAA part 61 and Part 141 programs. Positions includes supervision of assistant chief instructors, check instructors, and flight instructors.

CFI Academy Instructor


CFI Academy Instructors spend the majority of their time providing the CFI ground instruction as required by the FAR/AIM. They also fly with initial CFI candidates and are responsible to "sign-off" the candidate for their Practical Test.

  • CFIA/CFII with minimum 2 years instructor with 200 hours dual given
  • Capable of flying Sportcruiser (instructor must weigh under 200 lbs) and glass C-172's.
