What the Zero Time to Airline Program Includes
The ZTA program takes you through every certificate and rating you need to begin working as a Certified Flight Instructor, the industry-standard path to building the hours required for airline hiring minimums.
Certificates and ratings completed in the program:
- Private Pilot Certificate
- Instrument Rating
- Commercial Pilot Certificate (Single and Multi-Engine)
- Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
- Certified Flight Instructor — Instrument (CFII)
After completing the ZTA program, Thrust Flight graduates are eligible to instruct at Thrust Flight locations, building flight hours while earning income and accelerating the path to 1,500 hours and airline hiring eligibility.
Program length: The average ZTA student completes the program in 13 months with examining authority. Traditional schools without examining authority can take significantly longer due to DPE scheduling delays alone.

Mesa Flight School Details
For our Zero Time to Airline students we offer affordable housing near the FFZ airport. You’ll be roomed with fellow students going through the same program, so even when you’re home you’ll be surrounded by pilots at various stages of their training.
We have a modern fleet of aircraft. Every one of our Cessna 172, Piper Archer, and Piper Seminole aircraft is equipped with G1000 avionics. And in the hot Arizona summer you’ll enjoy training in our air conditioned airplanes.
