What happens to my loan if I drop out of ZTA?
Your loan obligation remains in full, but you’re entitled to a partial refund of the cost of training based on how far into your current course you progressed.
Any unused contingency allowance and prepaid courses not yet started are fully refunded.
Your loan obligation stays in full regardless. On Thrust’s side, prepaid courses you haven’t started and unused contingency allowance are fully refunded, typically to the lender.
For the course you’re actively in, refunds are based on phase: 66% if you’ve completed less than one-third of required flight hours, 33% between one-third and two-thirds, and non-refundable beyond that. In many cases, a temporary leave of absence is a better option than a full withdrawal.
