What’s the student-to-instructor ratio, and will I have a dedicated CFI?
Each ZTA student is assigned a primary CFI for the duration of each course.
While occasional schedule overlaps may put you with a different instructor for a single lesson, your primary CFI is responsible for your training progression.
A different instructor may cover a single lesson during scheduling conflicts, stage checks, or progress evaluations, but the pairing remains consistent throughout each course.
If a student and instructor aren’t a good match, you can request an adjustment.
Across the program you’ll work with multiple instructors at different stages, which is actually beneficial preparation for the variety of training captains you’ll encounter at the airlines.
