What is the refundable overage allowance?
ZTA requires an additional $5,000 refundable contingency allowance on top of the cost of training.
This covers unexpected expenses like additional flight hours or retake exams, and any unused balance is refunded at the end of the program.
The allowance can be added to your financing, so most students do not pay it out of pocket up front. It is used only when needed, not automatically, and most students finish with a portion of it refunded.
