What is the Capstone Course?
The Capstone Course an accelerated, full-time program designed for pilots who already hold their Commercial certificate and are ready to complete their CFI, CFII, and MEL ratings.
After as little as two months, you’ll be done with all three ratings and ready to start working as a flight instructor.
We provide the aircraft, instructors, materials and support you need in one focused, full-time program.
Who is This Program For?

- Already hold their Commercial Pilot Certificate (CAX).

What You’ll Learn
During your time in the Capstone Course you’ll complete the training for the following three advanced ratings:
- Certified Flight Instructor (CFI): Learn how to teach new pilots and develop the skills to lead from the right seat.
- Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII): Gain the ability to train students in instrument procedures and help them master IFR flying.
- Multi-Engine Rating (MEL): Add multi-engine privileges to your certificate so you’re qualified for more complex aircraft and career opportunities.
Each of these ratings builds on your foundation as a commercial pilot and prepares you to instruct and build the 1,500 hours required to be hired as an airline pilot.
